The Railway Children tells the tale of three Edwardian children, Bobby, Peter and Phyllis, living in the comfortable suburbs of London. Their lives are shattered when, late one night, their father is arrested on suspicion of espionage. Suddenly impoverished, the children and their mother move to a modest cottage in the Yorkshire countryside close to a railway. New friendships, new adventures and dangers await the ‘Railway Children’.
